Contemporary garden design for newly built residence in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The rear garden incorporates a lap pool and open lawn area with panoramic views over the canopy of trees in Cooper Park beyond.
The side gardens transition to a more lush planting theme incorporating mass plantings of low growing palms or dark green sword-shaped foliage plants which are visible through long narrow letterbox windows of the family room, living room and kitchen. A self contained granite water feature adds a tranquil ambience to this section of the garden.
A formal garden style was used for the front courtyard garden, featuring a diagonal paving pattern and sawtooth garden bed edging. This garden was primarily designed to be viewed from the adjacent family room and on approach to the main house entry door and includes an illuminated 'tree of life' triptych lightbox sculptural piece.
