This Japanese inspired garden is a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city. The new garden was commissioned in conjunction with an ambitious terrace house conversion in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Careful consideration was given to hard and soft material selection and choice of colours to ensure that the garden was seen as an extension of the interior living areas.
Key features of the garden include bold plant selection in gravel surrounds, granite stone paving, stone lanterns, large vertical feature stone, wet edge linear pond with bronze waterlily sculpture, weatherproof timber bench storage unit, garden lighting, onsite water retention system, soakage pit, drip irrigation, kitchen espalier and herb garden.
