Landscape design for waterfront property overlooking Clovelly Bay incorporating a range of landscape themes that respond to the coastal location of the property. These provide a variety of unique spaces offering year round visual interest.
At the main entrance, hardwood timber and honed concrete entrance stairs connect the house with the surrounding coastal walks.
Overlooking the open lawn and swimming pool area, a travertine tiled terrace extends the living space for outdoor dining. A raised planter of egyptian papyrus runs the length of the swimming pool. The garden opposite contains tropical and succulent plants, with hardwood timber posts and climbing wire fixed to the boundary wall.
The garden shed and sauna/steam room outbuildings incorporate green roofs to maximise soft landscape areas and provide visual interest when viewed from the upper level of the house.
At the rear of the garden, platform steps lead through a living green wall to a Mediterranean garden featuring a sitting pavilion, sandstone sphere sculpture set in gravel surrounds and mass plantings of Lavender.
Olive trees line the rear boundary with an understorey of silvery grey foliage plants.
